We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our food operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Head Chef and General Manager to develop and implement innovative menu concepts and culinary strategies
- Lead a team of culinary professionals to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible products and services
- Manage food safety, health and safety, and COSHH protocols to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
- Conduct regular stock takes and ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced culinary environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of culinary professionals
- Exceptional culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and inventory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
