About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide social work services to children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and families.
Requirements
- A recognized degree or diploma in Social Work, or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Care Council.
- Experience of social work with children, young people with complex needs, and their families.
- Experience of multi-agency working.
- Knowledge of the principles of the Children Act, childcare legislation, guidance, and national standards.
