Audit Senior - Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Menzies LLP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing audits to ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing
  • Preparing accounts and reports to a high standard
  • Coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships
  • Leading on-site audit teams and completing jobs to deadlines and within budget

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA / CA exam-qualified or part-qualified (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification)
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice
  • Experience of leading external audit assignments from planning to completion stages
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate/Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite
