BOS Lead Auditor - Contract Position

Location: West Midlands, UK
Duration: 9-month initial contract (high likelihood of extension)
Status: Inside IR35
Rate: Competitive (subject to PAYE deductions)

A leading manufacturing business in the West Midlands is seeking a skilled BOS Lead Auditor to join their team on a contract basis. As an inside IR35 contractor, you will be considered an employee for tax purposes, with Income Tax and National Insurance contributions deducted at source.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive audits of the Business Operating System across all departments.
  2. Develop and implement risk-focused audit plans.
  3. Lead a team of junior auditors in executing audit activities.
  4. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  5. Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing roles, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  3. Proven track record of conducting integrated management system audits.
  4. Familiarity with quality management systems.
  5. Knowledge of risk management and compliance regulations in the manufacturing sector.
  6. Understanding of environmental management systems and occupational health and safety standards.
  7. Experience in automotive industry quality standards and processes.
