We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production / Machine Operative to join our team at Glue Resourcing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting printing equipment, monitoring the production process, and ensuring quality control.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and adjust printing equipment based on job requirements, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and monitoring the production process.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality control and adjust as needed to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
- Follow correct machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on printing machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Checking inventory of printing supplies and materials, and report as needed to support production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document production data, job specifications, and quality control measures for reporting and record-keeping purposes.
- Report faults and escalate where appropriate.
- Manual handling duties including box creation, presentation folders etc.
- Must be able to demonstrate a stable employment history.
- Ideally have experience in the Print or Manufacturing Industry.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take on key learning and instruction.
- Strong team spirit and communication skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
