Job Title: Care Family Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team at Law Staff Legal Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Law Solicitor to work with a well-established and reputable law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of family law cases, including private law children's cases, and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of family law cases, including private law children's cases
  • Conduct research on developing areas of law and procedure to remain up to date on key issues
  • Provide training to members of the department where appropriate
  • Attend upon clients, take instructions, and give advice, confirming that in writing
  • Write letters and emails and correspond with court, solicitors, and clients
  • Draft and issue court papers and other legal documents
  • Implement final orders
  • Billing and seeking to meet billing targets
  • Produce articles for the website on current issues, landmark cases, and developments in family law on a regular basis
  • Utilize social media frequently, in particular LinkedIn and Twitter, to promote the firm and its service offerings
  • Run and/or assist in the running of stalls, trade shows, attending networking events where appropriate
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct and Accounts Rules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong administrative, typing, and interviewing skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft platforms
