Repairs Surveyor Opportunity

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable Housing Association to recruit two Repairs Surveyors on a permanent basis. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to interview and start within the coming weeks.

The role will be based in Surrey and West London, with 1 day per week hybrid working. The successful candidate will have access to their own vehicle and hold a full UK driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect housing stock and building works, prepare specifications, and compile tender/contract documentation to deliver repairs and void works.
  • Carry out pre and post inspections.
  • Work with contractors to utilize the budget for maintenance effectively and project manage customer requests.
  • Progress, manage, and communicate to all internal and external customers in relation to complaints, MP enquiries, EHO compliant, and Legal disrepairs.
  • Experience of scheduling building/planned maintenance works and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of housing maintenance, repair specifications, diagnosing defects, and remedial works.
  • A strong knowledge of social housing management.
  • Skills in housing/property management systems (Northgate or similar).
