Quality Technician Job Description

ASC Connections Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incoming Inspection: Inspect parts from external suppliers and internal manufacturing units against drawings or specifications to BS 8888 standards.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing: Independently inspect manufactured products and assemblies via the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) process.
  • First Article Inspection: Undertake first article inspection for the part approval process (PPAP).
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for non-conformances.
  • Data Compilation and Analysis: Compile and analyze data for statistical process control.
  • Calibration Management: Manage and administer the calibration process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in inspection processes and test equipment.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and drawing symbols.
  • Knowledge of quality tools for fault diagnosis and analysis of root cause.
  • Basic knowledge of the PPAP process.
