1. Develop PLC programs utilizing standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
2. Leverage knowledge of common microcontroller architectures to design and evaluate moderately complex electromechanical or electro-pneumatic systems.
3. Create, script, and execute testing protocols to verify the functionality of machine control systems.
Communication Skills:
Engage with external vendors and contractors involved in automation and control projects.
Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of modular machine and user interface code using a GIT-based methodology.
Document and update electrical and pneumatic schematics.Generate and maintain requirements, system architecture, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
Candidate Profile:
A degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or equivalent demonstrable experience is required.
This role may require strong programming skills across various domains, with a willingness to learn additional areas as needed.
Ideal candidates will be inquisitive and eager to expand their knowledge and skills.
Previous experience as a PLC Software Engineer, Automation Control Engineer, or Machine System Control Developer in sectors such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or HVAC is advantageous.
Experience in programming PLCs for standalone machines is also relevant.Familiarity with HMI programming using platforms like Android Studio or similar is preferred.
Knowledge of two-way communication in smart factory/Industry 4.0 settings is beneficial.
Experience with CANopen and basic PCB design is a plus.
Ideally, candidates will have practical experience in industrial automation with PLC control, showcasing their ability to address similar challenges that may arise.
