Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a leading supplier of Warehouse Automation & Software products to find an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a design engineer with experience designing electrical systems and working within a closely affiliated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating detailed electrical designs to fit with the customer's requirements using Eplan software
  • Working alongside the procurement team through the production of bills of materials and the processing of documentation
  • Ensuring that all electrical designs comply with engineering standards
  • Working closely with the sales, projects and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required
  • Attending project sites nationally as and when required to inspect electrical installations and liaise with team/client
Requirements:
  • A strong electrical design background working within Warehouse Automation
  • Experience working with Eplan software
  • A strong working knowledge of both 18th edition and EN60204
  • A full UK driver's license for travel to customer sites
