Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to clients across a range of care settings.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of a new model of integrated primary and community mental health services. You will work closely with other practitioner psychologists, psychological therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients across a range of care settings
  • Contribute to the development of a new model of integrated primary and community mental health services
  • Work collaboratively with other practitioner psychologists, psychological therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to clients
  • Support the development of psychological practice within the team, contributing a psychological perspective to team working, treatment planning, and supervising other psychological professionals

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Forensic Psychology, and who is HCPC registered as a Practitioner Psychologist. You will have experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings, and possess well-developed skills in effectively communicating complex information to clients, their families, carers, and other professional colleagues.
