About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our established Mechanical Building Services team in Sunderland. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to complex and technical projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, sports/leisure, and healthcare.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop conceptual and detailed design solutions for mechanical services.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical services design and calculations using Hevacomp IES or similar software.
  • Support in producing mechanical specifications, schedules, reports, and technical papers.
  • Communicate professionally and build strong client relationships.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and initial concept and detailed designs.
  • Provide technical support and advice working directly with clients.
  • Represent the business in meetings and assist in general office duties.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and capability in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and similar tools.

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in Building Services Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
