Job Title: Senior Business Lead - M&E (Electric and Lifts) Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Lead - M&E (Electric and Lifts) Compliance to join our Asset Compliance team at Torus Group. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that our properties remain safe and compliant with statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a highly professional service that actively manages electrical and lifting equipment safety
  • Ensure assets across the Torus property portfolio remain compliant with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements
  • Develop and maintain the asset database and records to ensure full compliance
  • Support the Compliance Manager with all safety initiatives within the business relating to electrical and lifting equipment
  • Lead and coordinate activities with other parts of the business, audit/vet contractors, and liaise with enforcement bodies
Requirements:
  • Level 4 Electrical Safety Management in Social Housing or willingness to work towards
  • Relevant people management & leadership experience commensurate with the role
  • LOLER – Management & Inspection for Duty Holders
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
