Job Summary

CMC Markets UK Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our global legal team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing legal support and advice to our business units across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Legal and Senior Management Team in delivering CMC Markets' objectives
  • Provide litigation and dispute resolution advice to internal teams
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including client-facing terms of business, IT contracts, marketing contracts, and institutional agreements
  • Support the Legal Team in providing a high-quality legal service to the business
  • Liaise with global legal colleagues to ensure information sharing and risk management
  • Monitor legal updates and share relevant information with the Legal Team
  • Identify and action key process improvements within the Legal Team
  • Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent experience in other jurisdictions)
  • Prior litigation or dispute resolution experience or data privacy experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisation, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
