Junior Field Engineer - CCTV Systems
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Field Engineer to join our team at Wireless CCTV. As a Junior Field Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting our team with the installation, servicing, and diagnosing faults in our CCTV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with the installation, servicing, and diagnosing faults in our CCTV systems.
- Continuously learn and develop to understand the programming and overall assembly of our products.
- Test products, including remedial fault analysis and provide technical support.
- Recommend the location of site security through a site survey and utilize your knowledge of the products.
- Consistently maintain your vehicle and participate in internal inspections.
Benefits:
- Annual starting salary of £24,000 with the potential to increase to £27,000 with 6 months of training and a successful probationary period.
- Ongoing structured internal training against our custom skills matrix.
- Quarterly pay increases in line with our installations pay structure.
- External training including nationally recognizing accreditations: EUSR, PASMA, and IPAF.
- 23 days annual leave, increasing with length of service from year two, plus bank holidays.
- Private healthcare and dental care schemes, supplying wellness and mental health support services.
- Company pension scheme, with employer contributions increasing with length of service.
Requirements:
- Passion for technology and engineering.
- Manual dexterity - the ability to assemble and fix electronic equipment to a prescribed standard.
- Experience in testing and diagnosing problems in electrical equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with our Senior Field Engineers.
