About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all site maintenance operations to ensure optimal functioning of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure efficient farming/growing operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to support the smooth operation of the farm.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure effective maintenance operations.
- Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure minimal disruption to production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site maintenance management, preferably within the agricultural or horticultural sector.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with different departments.
