About the Role

Fujifilm Healthcare UK is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continued operation of our medical equipment, including X-ray systems, through repair, maintenance, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain a range of medical equipment, including X-ray systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Install and demonstrate equipment to support the sales team and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on equipment to ensure compliance with service contracts and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders, responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the service team to resolve customer service-related issues and ensure effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of site/system issues, developing plans to resolve them with the aid of technical management.
  • Escalate serious or unresolved issues to the Team Leader or Service Delivery Manager, ensuring patient safety and customer/supplier relationships are maintained.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements at all times, reporting any potential hazards to the Team Leader or Service Delivery Manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed training or studies in Medical Technology/Healthcare (X-Ray) or comparable professional experience.
  • Experience in operational management of a service desk, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, or comparable.
  • Methodological competence in ITIL processes (incident management, problem management).
  • Confident handling of common Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong service and customer orientation, with a structured and process-oriented approach.
  • Experience in project management of complex medical projects.
  • Excellent analytical and business management skills.
  • English language skills (written and spoken).
  • SAP, MS Office, and Salesforce knowledge.
