Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Clinic

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Same Day Clinic setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to work in our Same Day Clinic, providing care to patients with a variety of conditions, including injuries, illnesses, and chronic diseases. As an LPN, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing wound care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN
  • BLS certification
  • Electronic documentation experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
Work Environment:

This is a travel LPN position, working in a Same Day Clinic setting. The clinic is located in a teaching hospital with 59 beds. The work schedule is 4-10 hour days, with varied start times. The clinic uses the Epic charting system and has a scrub color of eggplant-deep purple.
