Pastures New Accommodation Limited is an emergency accommodation provider and operator dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP/s) in Ireland. Our accommodations are tailored to meet the unique needs of BOTP/s, offering a range of services including language and cultural support, access to education and job training, and mental health and well-being resources.

Job Title: Deputy Head of Training

We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Manager to assist with the operations of emergency accommodation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property management, hospitality, emergency accommodation services, or related roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operation, staff, contractors, and suppliers in line with company objectives, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost and Budget Management: Ensure that all OPEX, procurement, and supplier costs are controlled and in line with operational, budgetary, and regulatory requirements.
  • Rooms and Property Management: Manage rooms, occupancy, allocation in line with company objectives, resident guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Front Desk Management: Oversee the Front Desk team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that front desk operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Resident Welfare: Maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for all residents, addressing resident concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Database Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date resident database, keeping detailed records of resident information, leases, contracts, and agreements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in property management, hospitality, emergency accommodation services, or related roles.
  • Strong work ethic, hospitality, and services skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents and manage team members.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills to manage resident welfare and database effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and government agencies, such as Intreo and HSE.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A broad understanding of different cultures and sensitivity to diversity in backgrounds.
  • Garda vetted - this can be arranged.
  • Have understanding and compassion for people in vulnerable situations.
  • A current knowledge of the social services, policies, and regulations in Ireland.
  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language an advantage.
