Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems
- Build prototypes of mechanical systems or components for testing and validation
- Provide support to manufacturing teams during the production of mechanical components or systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical systems meet project requirements and objectives
- Ensure that mechanical systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and other resources required for the design, development, and production of mechanical systems
- Document and report on project progress and results
- Expertise in mechanical engineering and CNC technology
- Strong understanding of CAD software and design principles
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
