About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Universities. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages to our clients and customers.
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays to enhance the dining experience.
  • Represent Chartwells - Universities in a professional and positive manner, maintaining a strong brand image.
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a similar catering-related role is desirable, but not essential.
