We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Backline Logistic Support Services Limited, a leading logistics company in the region. This exciting role offers a mix of day and night shifts, Monday-Friday, with opportunities for overtime and double-time pay.

The Role:
  • Collect and deliver pallets, fridge goods, and other items with precision and care.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-centric attitude at all times.
  • Ensure your vehicle is clean and well-maintained, and that all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the local area and road network to optimize delivery routes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • A valid Category CE / Class 2 Driving Licence.
  • A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A clean driving license with a maximum of 6 points, and no DD/DR in the last 5 years.
  • A minimum of 3 years of HGV Class 2 experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of the local area and surrounding roads.
  • Authorisation to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing start times and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
