Pump Service Engineer - A Key Role at Ambitek Limited

At Ambitek Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pump Service Engineer to join our team as a Works Foreman. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with quotations, providing accurate costing details and helping prepare quotes for work.
  • Carry out hands-on repair and installation work, including building maintenance and vehicle maintenance.
  • Oversee and promote Health & Safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Manage the workload, scheduling of work, and non-productive time, as well as discipline, communication, and training.
  • Ensure all vans are regularly serviced, MOT-checked, and fully legal at all times.
  • Assist with the ongoing training of future engineers and mentor apprentice engineers.
  • Promote the effectiveness and smooth running of all shopfloor activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience in pump service engineering and leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
