We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Off To Work. As a key member of our prison industry team, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and development of prisoners through vocational training in catering.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive and practical hands-on trainings ensuring inmates handle & prepare food safely in a safe kitchen environment.
  • Oversee the induction process for all inmates working for the catering services.
  • Coach and mentor prisoners, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct monthly Compliance safety checks and maintain up-to-date training records and matrices.

Key Requirements:

  • Solid experience working in a kitchen with a strong understanding of food safety.
  • Level 3 Food Safety certification with a proven track record in training and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the patience and resilience to work within a challenging environment.
  • Experience delivering Food Safety, Manual Handling, and NVQ training is essential.
