Job Description

As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a thorough review of the current supply chain and practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Establishing strong relationships with raw materials and subcontract manufacturing partners to ensure continuity of supply, quality, and investment in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) benefits.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing recommendations for procurement activities.
  • Managing risk in the supply chain and ensuring supply capacities align with business growth.
The Ideal Candidate

A successful Purchasing Manager should possess:

  • A proven track record in strategic procurement, demonstrating the ability to review, identify, and negotiate with suppliers on a local and international level.
  • A keen interest in professional development and either a desire to step up into a management role or current leadership experience.
  • Motivation by the opportunity for continuous improvement and a passion for developing sustainable supply chains.
  • An understanding of the benefits of data-driven decision making, ensuring the integrity of systems (ERP).
