Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Chichester. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including actors, artists, sports professionals, and entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Draft reports and letters of advice on tax-related matters.
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tax advisory services.
- Train and review the work of junior team members.
- Support Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Advising on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes.
- Providing tax planning and remuneration advice to owner-managed businesses.
- Preparing research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns.
- Advising individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
- CTA qualification or AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification with a keen interest in studying towards CTA.
- Experience in corporate taxes is essential, with experience in other areas of tax beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000, negotiable.
- Mix of home and office-based work.
