About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our team in Liverpool. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the Audit Managers with the provision of audit and general accounting services to a portfolio of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is part ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified or a finalist with audit experience within an accountancy practice. You will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of audits from planning to completion, providing high-level client customer service, and supporting the Audit Managers in coaching and training junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large portfolio of audits from planning to completion
  • Provide high-level client customer service
  • Support the Audit Managers in coaching and training junior staff
  • Monitor client deadlines and ensure these are met
  • Monitor workflow of the team
  • Able to work alongside and part of the senior management team and support with company growth
  • Ability to identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients
  • Confident in networking to promote the department
  • Playing an integral part in the efficiency of the audit team and championing the firm's values within the team
  • Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills
