Job Title: Production Shift Team Leader - FMCG

Our client, a leading FMCG food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Production Shift Team Leader to join their team in Enfield. As part of one of Europe's largest specialist food companies, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive efficiency and achieve savings through continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee production and work closely with the Production Manager to meet production plan requirements.
  • Monitor health & safety, food safety standards, and quality to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement short interval control to drive performance.
  • Support staff development through SOP development, training, team briefs, and feedback.
  • Run production lines as part of holiday/absence cover.

Requirements:

We're looking for a strong leader who can engage and motivate a team, setting clear health and safety, quality, and food safety standards. Proven problem-solving skills and experience driving efficiency and achieving savings through continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment are essential. Food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
