Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at KAP Technical Limited. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing electrical control panels and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build electrical control panels to technical specifications.
  • Wiring and testing control panels to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Working with low voltage single and three phase AC systems, as well as extra low voltage DC systems.
  • Collaborating with the mechanical department to field wire control systems within machine envelopes.
  • Providing electrical maintenance support in and around the factory.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical wiring and maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic workload and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and data.
  • Qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of PLC hardware and software, such as Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
  • Understanding of industrial networking systems, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS-232, RS-485, etc.
  • Knowledge of domestic and commercial fixed wire electrical systems.
