Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our Manchester office estimating team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive mechanical tenders
- Meet tender deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members in the estimating and pre-construction team
- Interact with external design teams where required
- Conclude tenders with the Contracts Directors
- A good knowledge of all mechanical systems, including ventilation, heating/chilled water, BMS, and public health services
- Understand specifications and employer requirements
- Assemble enquiries for specialist sub-contractors/suppliers
- Identify risks and consider value engineering
- Ability to work on own initiative and develop relationships with customers and our supply chain
- Consider innovation and new products
- Ability to use estimating software, such as Trimble Contract Master
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Estimator. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive mechanical tenders and collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality results.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator who can work on own initiative and develop strong relationships with customers and our supply chain. If you have a good knowledge of mechanical systems and are able to identify risks and consider value engineering, we would like to hear from you.
