Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at PIVT Group Ltd. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing equipment and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine scheduled servicing and maintenance on food manufacturing, ancillary, and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Apply root cause analysis principles to identify and rectify issues, driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and support the Engineering Department in enhancing understanding and reducing downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Shift Managers and Engineering Coordinator to select correct spare parts and maintain stock levels.
  • Participate in training courses to enhance personal and departmental capabilities.
  • Assist in training and mentoring other members of the Engineering Team or other departments as required.
  • Maintain and promote good health and safety practices as a core principle of engineering activity on site.
  • Support the Facilities Management Department as required.
Requirements
  • Suitably trained and competent in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Ideal experience of PLC and machine control systems.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively.
  • Recognized apprenticeship or minimum of a Level 3 NVQ in either a mechanical or electrical discipline.
