Commercial HVAC Technician - East & South Devon - Competitive Salary

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity to join a prominent national maintenance service provider, seeking to enhance its operations by recruiting a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician. This role involves delivering exceptional service to a commercial contract within the East & South Devon region.

You will become an integral part of the existing mobile maintenance team, focusing on a variety of commercial contracts. Your primary responsibilities will include performing both scheduled and reactive maintenance on air conditioning, HVAC systems, and refrigeration equipment.

Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 am to 17:00 pm.

Key Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Minimum)
  • Fgas 2079 Cat 1 Certification (Essential)
  • Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management setting.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work protocols, and safe working practices.
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Participation in an On-Call Rota.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with mobile devices.
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented, capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Core Responsibilities
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Service and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Primary duties will include servicing and maintaining split systems, VRV's, VAV's, VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, chillers, and all associated HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Electrical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of building services is essential.
