We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Co-ordinator to provide effective and efficient coordinator and secretarial services for the Paediatric Neurology Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Paediatric Neurology Department, including coordination of patient appointments, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent communication and customer service.
- Utilise Microsoft Office 365 Packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
- Qualification in word processing or audio transcription (or equivalent).
- NVQ at level 3 in Business and Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and efficient telephone manner.
