Foreign Exchange Specialist

About the Role

Hays Travel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreign Exchange Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our foreign exchange bureau, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the profitability of the foreign exchange bureau through effective management of foreign exchange sales and operations.
• Achieve set foreign exchange targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth.
• Convert Hays Travel customers to purchase foreign exchange services.
• Maximize individual and team sales of foreign exchange services.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the bureau, including managing stock levels of foreign currency and ensuring accurate cash reconciliation and banking.
• Monitor local competition and manage rates and margins effectively on a daily basis to minimize risk and maximize profits.
• Play an active role in the day-to-day operation of the branch and support Travel colleagues with administrative duties.
• Be responsible for the security of the bureau and adhere to company policies and procedures.
