Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at IRIS Software Group. As a key member of our HR and Payroll product platform, you will play a critical role in building our next generation of cloud-based, customer-focused payroll software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud-based solutions that align with our company's cloud architectural vision
Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to evolve the architectural backlog
Work with Development Managers to build roadmaps for delivering cloud solutions in an agile manner
Ensure cloud architecture is designed to be maintainable and easily extendable to meet future requirements
Steer the development teams to ensure their implementation is technically sound and aligned with the cloud architecture framework

Requirements:

Multiple years of developing and architecting in cloud
Experience of designing full-stack architectures (multi-tier, so UI/UX, middle tier and persistence tier)
Deep understanding of REST APIs and API-first approach
Understanding of different software design patterns e.g Multi-tier, Micro service, Event driven

Desirable:

Extensive experience of cloud SaaS platforms
Strong foundations in security considerations
