You will be accountable for supporting the corporate tax compliance and tax reporting function of the UK and international group companies, working closely with the Group Tax Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of annual corporation tax computations for UK companies.
  • Support the year-end tax reporting process under UK GAAP and IFRS, including preparation of tax disclosures in the annual statutory accounts.
  • Calculation of quarterly tax instalment payments for the group.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in tax accounting.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax law and accounting principles.
  • Assisting the tax Manager with ad-hoc project/other work as and when required.
  • Proactively seeking feedback and identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional Accounting/Tax ACCA/ACA qualification.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CTA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in Tax Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in tax accounting practices.
