Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the go-live for a manufacturing company's Franchise System implementation. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 3 days on-site and limited travel to franchise locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring all supporting documents are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and deliver system and operational improvements.
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project progress and resolve potential issues.
    • Regularly meet with management teams to discuss project status, prioritize tasks, and address concerns.
  • Project Delivery and Quality Assurance
    • Work with stakeholders to manage project scope, costs, and timelines, taking ownership of the implementation process.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
    • Produce user and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for projects and change work streams.
    • Ensure thorough testing, including user acceptance testing, to ensure new features and improvements are fit for purpose.
  • Post-Implementation Review and Improvement
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Document lessons learned to inform future project planning and execution.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
    • Liaise with third-party stakeholders, including colleagues and external partners, to deliver and implement agreed-upon solutions.
