Medical Writer Internship

Costello Medical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst/Medical Writer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical communications, market access, and health economic and outcomes research. You will work on a variety of projects, typically two to three, across different divisions, and have the chance to develop your skills in data analysis, writing, and project management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a scientific discipline, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of medical education slides, performing systematic searches of medical literature, developing clinical trial manuscripts, and assimilating clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to support HTA submissions to NICE.
As an intern, you will receive one-to-one training on the technical aspects of the role and learn about project management and effective communication with clients. You will also have the opportunity to work on pro bono and charitable projects and participate in regular company-funded social activities.

This internship is suited to recent graduates and post-graduates, as well as current students who are permitted to complete full-time internships during the holidays or as a placement as part of their degree. The stipend for interns is £2,150 per calendar month, and you will be entitled to statutory holiday.
