Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our customers, promoting independence and choice while ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and support to customers, including administering medication, wound care, and personal care.
- Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning activities to ensure the smooth management of the shift.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans, taking into account individual customer needs and preferences.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support, making adjustments as necessary.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Ability to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
