About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technical Advisor to join our team at FOCUS RESOURCING LIMITED. As an Electrical Technical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to customers and service engineers in resolving product and system-related technical enquiries or warranty claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide accurate diagnoses of technical queries relating to warranty claims, product installations, and commissioning to manage outcomes through to problem resolution.
  • Customer Service: Offer technical assistance and advice to customers and colleagues to ensure the correct product application and operation.
  • Diagnostic and Problem-Solving: Utilize your diagnostic and problem-solving experience in a technical environment to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HND/Degree standard or equivalent experience within a technical after-sales environment, electrical/mechanical, engineering, or related industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical applications, and controls systems; diagnostic and problem-solving experience in a technical environment; electrical experience preferably with industrial 3-phase motors, AC/DC drives, D.O.L starting methods, motor insulation testing, controls, and field wiring diagnostics.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to deal professionally and tactfully with customers in all situations; excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
