About the Role

The Cleaning Operative will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment at our facility. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre to a very high standard by performing various duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, as well as cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner, taking into account Health and Safety legislation, company policies and procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate person and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, tenants, and shoppers, and be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced cleaning environment and knowledge of COSHH.
  • IOSH training desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality delivery.
