Job Title: Assistant Asset Engineer

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Asset Engineer to join our team, primarily supporting Portfolio Management and Business Planning within the Tactical Asset Planning function.

About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to tactical decision-making and support the development and implementation of our asset management strategy.

As an Assistant Asset Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, and project management of financial, risk, and project-related data to ensure the best information is available to enable the team to make key investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse data to identify trends, assess asset health, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prioritise projects to determine which are most critical and should be prioritised for investment.
  • Track project progress to ensure projects stay on track and deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with our overall goals.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills to turn data into insights that drive decision-making.
  • Project management experience to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools like Power BI.
  • A collaborative mindset to work with a team to achieve common goals.
  • A passion for making a difference in improving our wastewater network and the communities we serve.
