Supply SEN Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Supply SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
  2. Implement strategies to support students with diverse learning requirements, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  4. Collaborate with other professionals, such as SENCOs and educational psychologists, to create effective learning plans and interventions.
  5. Maintain accurate records of student development and progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Specialism or additional qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in SEN education

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in SEN or related field

Experience working with students across different age groups

Working Conditions:

Work primarily in a classroom setting.

May require occasional participation in meetings outside of regular hours.

Collaborate with other professionals in a team-oriented environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
