Our client, a leading business in the West Sussex area, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join their team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management to develop and maintain the marketing strategy for the business.
Main Responsibilities- Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of all marketing media used
- Develop and implement marketing plans to achieve business objectives
- Create and place advertisements in various media channels
- Produce high-quality marketing materials, including postcards and signage
- Coordinate public relations activities to promote the business
- Plan and execute event programs to engage with customers and stakeholders
- Manage the company website and social media presence to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
- Build and maintain contact databases to facilitate business development
- Coordinate community involvement activities to enhance the company's reputation
- Prepare and execute events, including entertainment and logistics
- Stay up-to-date with competitor marketing activity and trends to ensure the business remains competitive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills with accurate copywriting and proofing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- At least 2 years of marketing experience with a relevant marketing or communications qualification
- Accomplished campaign coordination skills
- Proven track record of managing multiple marketing channels
