Plastering Craftsman

As a Plasterer at Leeds College of Building, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings to create smooth, even surfaces. This role requires a combination of practical skills, attention to detail, and physical fitness.

• Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using a variety of techniques
• Measure and calculate materials required for each job
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth construction process

• Good GCSEs in mathematics and science
• Relevant qualifications or experience in plastering
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor

Newly trained plasterers can earn £19,000 - £25,000 per annum, while experienced plasterers can earn up to £35,000. Senior plasterers can earn in excess of £35,000, and self-employed plasterers set their own pay rates.
