About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Team as a Rehabilitation Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, efficient, and effective care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement specific treatment programmes as delegated by an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to patients on the ward who present with a variety of health conditions.
  • Undertake a range of clinical and non-clinical tasks, including delegated therapy and nursing tasks, in line with individual competencies, working towards the team aims of maximising independence, managing long-term conditions, and discharge planning.
  • Manage a caseload of in-patients under the guidance and supervision of qualified therapists.
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with patients, relatives, and other health professionals.
