Job Title: Mechanical Project Supervisor - Commercial Plumbing and Heating Specialist

Location: Newquay, Cornwall

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Project Supervisor to join our team at Carbon 60. As a Mechanical Supervisor - Commercial Plumbing and Heating, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical services on a major new build hospital project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project management team to deliver the mechanical services installation on time and within budget
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the self-delivery and subcontract mechanical services packages
  • Ensure the installation meets the specification, engineering drawings, and programme of works
  • Manage a team of up to 20 pipe fitters/commercial plumbers installing heating and plumbing services
  • Coordinate the installation of 1st fix 108mm, 28mm, 22mm, and 15mm stainless steel, mapress pipework, and associated supports, brackets, and metalwork
  • Ensure the installation of plastic and copper services with 2nd fix fixtures and fittings

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of supervising high-value commercial plumbing and heating installations
  • Ideal experience in a live hospital environment
  • Supervisor level JIB Card with SSSTS or SMSTS

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate between £22.00 CIS per hour
  • DBS and BPPS clearance arranged prior to starting
