About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead our site team on multi-million-pound projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the installation are completed on schedule, managing site teams, overseeing health and safety, quality control, and material ordering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the site team and work under the Mechanical Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage site teams, including subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure quality control measures are in place to meet client expectations.
  • Manage material ordering and inventory to minimize delays.
  • Attend weekly site meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain excellent client and contractor relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience as a Site Manager on similar contracts, ideally with a National Contractor on multi-million-pound projects.
  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate.
  • Relevant Mechanical qualifications (NVQ, etc.).
  • Relevant trade CSCS skills card.
  • Strong communication skills with subcontractors, clients, and team members.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, making decisions as required.

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, approximately 7 am to 4 pm with 1 hour for lunch.
