Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Business Manager to join our team at KILIAN PARFUMS. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Manager in achieving sales and productivity targets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maximise Sales Performance and Productivity
    • Support the Business Manager in managing the team and accounts to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
    • Monitor and analyze Frederic Malle ambassadors using brand tools to identify areas of opportunity and growth.
    • Be productivity-aware and review all opportunities with sales using Education Executive, with a focus on On Counter Technology or agreed customer capture systems.
    • Achieve team customer capture rates as per Frederic Malle brand targets.
    • Monitor competitor activity and interpret Frederic Malle opportunities to counteract competitor results and maintain or grow Frederic Malle brand market share and ranking.
    • Support management to ensure all key lines are well-stocked by conducting stock tasks as per store needs.
    • Maintain strong housekeeping standards and merchandising awareness to meet By Kilian brand expectations.
    • Implement and create strong activity/event plans to support marketing launches or seasonal demands with accurate time-in-advance planning.
    • Meet all administration deadlines set by the Business Manager and ensure all administration is accurately completed.
    • Meet expectations for coaching and complete all administration deadlines to support feedback.
  • Team Supervisors Management
    • Ensure all team members meet correct Frederic Malle brand service standards at all times.
    • Monitor and coach Frederic Malle brand service.
    • Monitor and coach On Counter Technology (client capture) with a focus on capture rate and enhancements tied to customer service.
    • Ensure all Frederic Malle brand specialists wear a clean, fresh look and wear Frederic Malle fragrance at all times.
    • Encourage strong and clear communication within the team and operate a lead-by-example style with a focus on communication, flexibility, timekeeping, and attendance.
    • Ensure all team members attend training meetings as required in a well-planned manner and follow up in-store afterwards with workplace and Frederic Malle tools to ensure team members meet training requirements.
    • Support the Business Manager to hold weekly/monthly team update meetings that are well-structured and planned, including updates on achievement to targets, events activity, customer capture, Frederic Malle brand service standards, and housekeeping needs.
    • Communicate well with Sales and Education Executive, keeping them informed of all important matters and team performance issues, and clearly communicate these to agree a follow-up/support plan.
    • Liaise well with Business Manager and SEE management to understand their requirements.
    • Communicate all brand information to all team members as directed by the Business Manager and SEE.
  • General
    • All Frederic Malle brand Assistant Managers will need to be able to carry out any other duties as required to support the Sales and Education Executive and/or Frederic Malle brand from time to time.
