About the Role

Nyetimber, a pioneering luxury brand and multiple award-winning English sparkling wine producer, is seeking a highly skilled Assembly/Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of Point of Sale (POS) inventory within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of POS, ensuring seamless inventory flow and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Stock Top-up: Coordinate and manage timely intake and delivery of new POS from suppliers, ensuring timely receipt and processing of stock.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter inventory data into our system, maintain detailed records of stock movements, and update inventory management software to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Quality Control of POS: Inspect incoming stock for quality and quantity against purchase orders, cleaning as needed and maintaining POS in quality condition to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Collaborate with our warehouse team to ensure efficient stock handling, proper storage, and accurate picking and packing of orders to meet customer demands.
  • Reporting: Create reports on stock levels, stock movements, and inventory performance to our Procurement Manager on a regular basis to inform business decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory control procedures and reduce waste, ensuring that all POS items are fit for purpose and represent our brand at the highest level.
  • Monthly Stock Counts: Conduct monthly stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Cleaning Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of stock and negotiate favorable terms to benefit our business.
  • Cleaning Budget Management: Monitor and manage the inventory budget, ensuring cost-effective stock management practices and minimizing waste.
  • Technology: Support the implementation and leveraging of inventory management software and tools to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
  • Returns Management: Oversee the process of returned goods, ensuring they are handled efficiently and accurately re-entered into inventory or processed for disposal.
  • Forecasting Support: Collaborate with our sales and procurement teams on forecasting of stock needs to ensure we meet customer demands and minimize stock discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels, preferably within a luxury sector.
  • Familiarity with luxury materials and products is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the timely intake and delivery of new POS from suppliers, ensuring seamless inventory flow.
  • Strong skills in accurately entering inventory data into systems, maintaining detailed records of stock movements, and updating inventory management software.
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory control procedures and reduce waste.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of stock and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Expertise in overseeing the process of returned goods, ensuring efficient handling and accurate re-entry into inventory or disposal.
  • A Forklift license is essential for this role.
  • Due to inventory being at different locations, a car will be essential for this role.
